The 3FO v2 Flash Hider is machined out of heat treated 4140 then nitrided offering exceptional strength and reliability. The primary function of the 3FO diminishes muzzle flash by dispersing and redirecting the escaping gases generated by the fired round, thus minimizing the signature flash produced at the muzzle maintaining your tactical advantage in critical situations.

The 3FO's internal threads is a significant design advantage offering even more flash suppression over standard flash hiders. The reduced flash not only helps maintain a clear sight picture but also reduces the chances of the shooter being temporarily blinded in low-light conditions, ensuring optimal visibility and target acquisition. It features a sleek, low profile design that integrates seamlessly with your system, maintaining a clean and streamlined appearance.

Muzzle Device Ratings & Disclaimers

Breek Arms’ lineup of Outside Threaded Muzzle Devices is an affordable upgrade that gives you the option to run a flash hider or muzzle brake while utilizing our Breek Arms Castle Blast Shield as a forward blast diverter or concussion device. Simply slide the Blast Shield over the outside of the muzzle device and turn the blast shield on. This gives the shooter a more pleasant experience when firing especially for shorter platforms that tend to have an overbearing concussion. Added durability due to an updated heat treating process that increases reliability for higher muzzle pressures. Installation of all Breek Arms muzzle devices are very straightforward and require basic hand tools.

    Quality appearance

Posted by DS on Jan 15th 2024

I received this flash hider in perfect condition. This will be replacing a Rainier Arms XTC original comp/ flash hider. I have not fired it yet but it installed easily and looks nice. I had hoped for slightly longer tines, maybe another 1/4“ or so would be nice. This is going to need to tame a 5.56 /11.5“ barrel and it needs all it can get. I'll update as soon as I can get some time behind this device.

    It’s a must buy!

Posted by Bobby Z on Jan 12th 2024

Bought this flash hider to finish a 12.5 build and man am I happy I did. This thing not only looks great but performs even better. ZERO flash coming out of my rifle in daylight and at night. It’s wild to watch. If you aren’t running a suppressor, skip the expensive 3 prongs and save yourself some cash and still get reliability and performance for a third of the cost! Took me less then 10 minutes to get it properly installed and timed with the correct tools. I’m a BA customer for life!

    Top shelf quality

I put this on my AR9 carbine. This was a very nice upgrade from the old a2 bird cage I had on before. I have not really shot either in low light scenarios, so I can't say if there is a huge differance in muzzle flash. And its only 9mm so it's not huge to begin with. But it certainly looks a lot cooler. And the quality of this flash hider is on par with some that cost three times what this does. I will be coming back for more.

Nice fit and finish. Should work well. Does ring like tuning fork but shouldn’t be an issue.

3FO/Hager and 30 caliber looks to be very well-made !!

Posted by Al estrada on Mar 27th 2023

This flash hider flash muzzle brake is very well-made was easy to install, came with a crush washer, and I purchased the optional blast shield with it. I actually got two and two. I have not fired the rifle since I installed it, but will probably be doing that soon if you haven’t purchased one, I recommend you keep your eye open, I got a good deal on this last set by one or two !!

    Best I’ve seen

Posted by KDRABBIT on Mar 13th 2023

Was wanting a 3 prong flash hider. Most I’ve used have been lacking strength/reliability in extreme conditions. Tried this Breek Arms and have been very pleasantly surprised. Touch heavier than others but more robust and reliable for breaching and face/ body strikes. Also threaded to easily attach forward sound diverter. Excellent shipping and delivery.

    3FO Flash Hider V2 Outside Threaded - .223/5.56, 9mm, .30 Caliber

Posted by M Webb Rooney on Jan 11th 2023

I have bought several of these in .223. So far I have some that work perfectly fitting an armorers wrench, some that are slightly too large for the wrench to fit and some that are much larger than the wrench. I have no idea why there is that much variance in size.
