Great Quality
I am not new to Breek charging handles. I currently own 2 Warhammers and as of a few hours ago I also own one LE Sledgehammer. First impressions: SOLID charging handle. I really like the “baffles” on the inside of the charging handle that run the entire length from front to rear. Most people would read baffles and think suppressor like baffles, that is not the case. The baffles on the LE Sledgehammer are more of a “ribbed for pleasure” style. The latches are great, feel solid, lock and unlock with ease, but not so easy that it unlocks itself. It grips the receiver well. I then lubed it up (I use slip2000 ewl30), installed it and took it out for a test run. Mitigates gas very well, better than my Radian charging handles I’ve used in the past. My credentials for this review: I am an 11 year Army Vet, current Active LE, and I exclusively use Breek Arms charging handles for my duty rifle. I depend on my rifle to save life, and I have to trust the components I put into it, and I trust Breek Arms charging handles.

So, I cannot delete my first review…but I finally did receive the shipment….and immediately put it to the test. It’s excellent. Thicc like the og sledgehammer…but the wings are cut down to not snag on gear. Much like the super expensive geissele airborne. Except the “port” out the right side latch area pushes smoke and gases away from the face of the shooter. It’s excellent. I apologize for the first review. But they can use it to allow the buyer to see shipping info so it’s not a guessing game as to delivery date. 5 stars will buy more!!!
