The BFO Caged Flash Hider is machined out of heat treated 4140 then nitrided offering exceptional strength and reliability. The primary function of the BFO diminishes muzzle flash by dispersing and redirecting the escaping gases generated by the fired round, thus minimizing the signature flash produced at the muzzle maintaining your tactical advantage in critical situations.
The BFO's internal threads is a significant design advantage offering even more flash suppression over standard flash hiders. The reduced flash not only helps maintain a clear sight picture but also reduces the chances of the shooter being temporarily blinded in low-light conditions, ensuring optimal visibility and target acquisition. The BFO also keeps the prongs closed which eliminates the well known "ring", increases strength, and is a more classic flash hider look. Simply slide the Blast Shield over the outside of the muzzle device and thread the Blast Shield on. This gives the shooter a more pleasant experience when firing especially for shorter platforms that tend to have an overbearing concussion. The added durability of an updated heat treating process increases reliability for higher muzzle pressures. Installation of all Breek Arms muzzle devices is very straightforward and requires basic hand tools.

Good, but not perfect
I bought this for a pin and weld on my .300BLK, it meets that requirement just fine, however the back of the device isn't counterbored so you have to use the crush washer (or as I did, cut that counterbore in with my lathe). That's the only reason I didn't go 5 stars.

No complaints here ! everything installed great with ease Im running the setup on a 10.5” 556. I can’t speak for everyone’s build. I was very pleased at how the blast shield directed energy down range with minimal fire ball compared to some others I have used . Really love the 9.7 RG2-S rail with the new rail mounting system the machining loos greet with the Odin works slick side upper . Couldn’t be more pleased I will be doing more business in the near future !
