The brake is machined out of 4140 steel, heat treated for hardness, and nitrided to offer exceptional strength and durability. The 2BO’s large 90 degree ports mitigate recoil and muzzle rise, countering the force generated through firing. This produces less blowback resulting in higher overall shooter comfort. Double port muzzle brake
After some research decided to use shims to install and time the brake instead of using crush washer. Holding back final star of rating until I fire rifle. But video reviews I've seen show good results. Have noticed that blast can I purchased rubs the brake while screwing it on. Don't know if this is typical.

Broke on first use
I run breaks on all my rifles. Wanted to switch things up and got one of these with the castle blast can. Installed, checked the bore with a rod, and went to the range. First shot the entire break fell apart and blew all over the range. The inside of the can is all scarred up. Removed it and installed a different comp with no issues.
