Simply slide the blast shield over the outside of the muzzle device and turn the blast shield on. This gives the shooter a more pleasant experience when firing especially for shorter platforms that tend to have an overbearing concussion.

this three-prong fresh hider works extremely well in low light and low light conditions comparable or better to phantom flash hider and the 13x16x16 thread pitch is extremely convenient for cleaning highly recommend

Solid Build, good upgrade over the ol' Bird Cage
Really clean, almost no tool marks at all, and does exactly what it's supposed to flawlessly. Got the .30 cal muzzle break with the Blast Shield a while back, and I've loved the hell out of it since. Wanted something compatible with the Blast Shield for my 5.56, and they finally came back in stock! Also highly recommend the Blast Shield, it makes a WORLD of difference when you're at an indoor range with friends!

3FO Flash hider
The 3FO Flash hider does a very good job at reducing the muzzle flash. Much better than i expected. When shooting at night on my 10.5in barrel 5.56 I really didn't notice the Flash at all. My only complaint is the high pitch ping sound you hear when shooting, but as much as it reduces the the flash I can deal with it. Only the shooter can hear the ping. Standing next to the person shooting you will not hear it.

US made and very cool. Purchased with Castle blast shield which is a work of art. Flash hider does Ping a bit, which is common for pronged flash hiders and I could really care less about that! Great US parts for a super reasonable price.
