Breek Arms’ lineup of Outside Threaded Muzzle Devices is an affordable upgrade that gives you the option to run a flash hider or muzzle brake while utilizing our Breek Arms Castle Blast Shield as a forward blast diverter or concussion device. Simply slide the blast shield over the outside of the muzzle device and turn the blast shield on. This gives the shooter a more pleasant experience when firing especially for shorter platforms that tend to have an overbearing concussion.

US made and very cool. Purchased with Castle blast shield which is a work of art. Flash hider does Ping a bit, which is common for pronged flash hiders and I could really care less about that! Great US parts for a super reasonable price.

3FO Flash hider and Blast can

Posted by Wally Kilburg on Oct 8th 2021

I was skeptical because I did a lot of research on muzzle devices but something kept bringing my browser back to this one. I was working on another project, a AR-47so to speak. I had a price point for the entire build and needed to stay within certain pricing and this combo of flash hider and blast can fit best - so it was ordered. After shooting it, there is no question these units work way better beyond what you pay for them. Without the can, the flash is very subdued. I shot indoors in a darkened range and it was barely noticeable. With the can attached, the blast was well dampened back to my electronic ear pro, and the flash signature was still minimal. I think there was a slight more "push" back at the muzzle but it didn't make any difference in quick followup shots. This is one of those products that works as it should without being priced ridiculously. Aesthetically, I wasn't crazy about the look and the huge can hanging off my barrel's end. Looked kinda lumpy and bulbous. But it grows on you and others at the range really liked it. And it works. People were amazed at the lack of flash.

Bought several of these based on original purchase of one unit. They are well built and have held up well, including the finish. The part does its function as advertised. Minimizes light as it is made for. Wel worth the cost as some of these for for over $100 per unit. Highly recommend. PS get the castle forwarder great combo for indoor range.

An attractive option with a couple small issues.

This thing's great at the price point and does what it's supposed to do: suppress flash. Works quite well on my 11.5" and looks good too, though my particular example arrived with some blemishes and finish issues, primarily on the exterior, carved out portions of the tines. Also a bit of extra material around the circumference of hider's opening that was more or less handled with a boresnake. Pairing it with the blast shield? Just a damned bargain. Makes for a much more comfortable experience at indoor ranges and it's a breeze to install. If I could get them in FDE, that'd just make it better.
